Kick-off meeting of the Honours Master programme on High Tech Systems and Materials

18 October 2021

The Kick-off meeting of the Honours Master programme on High Tech Systems and Materials (HTSM) took place on October 12th, 2021 in Van Swinderenhuys (Oude Boteringestraat 19, Groningen). During the meeting, students were introduced to the Honours programme. The new students met with the industrial partners that will guide them during their master studies: Philips Consumer Lifestyle, Astron, BD Kiestra, and Meyer Werft. During the meeting, the students had the chance to discover the challenges that the companies will offer them for their projects.

The meeting was opened by Tom Middelburg, the Coordinator of the HTSM Master Programme. The meeting ended with a nice dinner at the Van Swinderen Huys. During the dinner, students networked and talked with our teachers, staff and industrial partners and got to know their fellow students.

Congratulations to the new students on their admission to the HTSM Honours programme! The Honours College wishes good luck to the new students and looks forward to hearing about the outcomes of these exciting challenges!
