The HTSM Honours Programme concludes with a Master Work. This is a project in which you put your newly acquired knowledge and skills into practice.
This involves designing and carrying out your own project. The content of the project can be geared to your plans for the future. Do you want to start your own business when you graduate? Do you want to organize conferences, or would you prefer to work on a research project? All these are possible subjects for a Master Work.
Some recent example:
Jessy and Sytze developed a new brain computer interface prototype, that is able to move a robot arm they constructed themselves.
Jan designed personalized mouthpieces for brass instruments (horns, trumpets, trombones, etc.) using a 3D printer. This proved to be a great success, with plastic mouthpieces sounding better than expected.
