Introduction

There will be a series of workshops about coaching PhDs in an intercultural context. We will travel around the world, and start with increasing your insights in the Chinese society.

Aim

This workshop will give more insight into the educational system of China, and will give insight into Chinese culture so you will better understand the students background and education.

• the Chinese educational system;
• what can be helpful to guide your PhD students;
• experiences of a Chinese PhD student at the UG.
