Vici preproposal training

Intended for

The training is for University of Groningen / UMCG researchers who plan to submit their preproposal in the upcoming NWO Vici round of applications.

Programme

After confirmation of your participation, you will receive a self-paced program (via e-mail) that supports you in drafting your evidence-based CV, key output list and research idea. These drafts form the preparation of your participation in the workshop. 

During the workshop the following topics will be covered:

• writing a compelling title and research idea, a competitive CV and a convincing key output list to substantiate your claims

• knowing, engaging and convincing NWO panel members and international experts
• organizing your support system in order to submit the best possible proposal

Maximum number of participants

• Min. 7 participants per writing workshop. In case the minimum number of participants is not reached, we will offer you an individual writing session instead (likely on the same day as the original workshop date). 
• Max. 10 participants per writing workshop. When fully booked, you will be informed about your position on the waiting list. The date/moment of registration (incl. project code) determines admission / position on the waiting list. If there are sufficient people on the waiting list, we might organize an extra course; otherwise, we will schedule an individual session with you instead.
