The French language courses of the University of Groningen Language Centre focus on speaking and understanding French in everyday situations that you might come across in France. A French language course can help you to update your half-forgotten skills or to expand your existing skills. Grammar is used to support the language acquisition.
Language of Instruction
The target language is the language of instruction as much as possible. When necessary, the course is taught in Dutch and/or English.
These courses will be taught as an online interactive group course via Blackboard Collaborate; our online classroom for the coming period! One lesson lasts 90 minutes. Per lesson you should count on 2-3 hours of self-study. Read here about everything you can expect from an online language course.

DELF and DALF are internationally recognised language certificates issued by the French Ministry of Education. The certificates, which are valid indefinitely, can not only be used to demonstrate your level but also to study in France (levels B2 and higher). These tests can be taken at the Institut Français in Groningen.
