Dutch courses paid for by the University of Groningen

It can be very useful for international University of Groningen students and academic staff members to have a basic knowledge of Dutch. This can make it easier to get by at the market and in shops and to communicate with their Dutch fellow students or colleagues. Therefore, international students and academic staff members of the University of Groningen are being offered Dutch courses up to level CEFR B1 at the Language Centre by the Board of the University of Groningen (or in some cases the relevant Faculty). This way, many international students and staff members can take Dutch courses for free.
