The Northern Innovation Agenda is the Europe 2020 strategy on smart growth, sustainable growth and inclusive growth initiated by northern industry, knowledge institutions and government. Five important areas of knowledge are: water technology, energy, High-tech and Materials, agribusiness (bio-based economy) and Healthy Ageing (life sciences). The University of Groningen is one of the lead partners in NIA. Please see the NIA hand-out for contact addresses.
