House style fonts for in-house printing and screen viewing
University staff who want to make their own communications (e.g. in MS Office) and do not have the house style font should use two fonts that are included with most operating systems (e.g. Windows and Mac OS X): Georgia Regular and Verdana Regular. Georgia is the preferred choice for printed documents (letters and reports) while Verdana should be used in screen viewing applications (e.g. PowerPoint presentations and websites).

Verdana is the most suitable font for lists of prices, dates, codes and so on, because the Verdana digits align better than their Georgia equivalents in vertical lists.
