House style basics
In an organization like the University of Groningen (UG), many different units communicate with a wide range of contacts. In order to ensure that the UG remains recognizable in all these communications, the use of a number of basic house-style elements is important – in addition to the content, of course. The most important of these are the logo, the colours, the fonts, and a number of style elements.
The trick is to use those elements to create designs (or have someone else do so) that are in keeping with the UG: designs that have an inviting, open and clear feel.
