UG employees contribute ideas on code of conduct
In March, the social safety programme organised 10 focus groups in which 90 employees discussed the new code of conduct for employees. These sessions are part of the Employee Code of Conduct project.
During the meetings, colleagues from all parts of the organisation - from academic staff to support staff - thought about the content of the code of conduct. They discussed professional behaviour, social safety and the ways in which we can together promote a respectful and inclusive working environment. The output from these discussions - which was collected anonymously - is currently being processed and will form an important basis for drafting the final code of conduct.
