Towards a socially safe academic environment (University of Groningen)

The UG will lead a webinar on addressing integrity, social safety, and (unconscious) bias in the workplace/classroom. An important part of the webinar is a general discussion on how to generate and implement change (how to go from policy to practice). How can staff and students become aware of their own and others’ biases and differences via curricular or extracurricular training? And how should bystanders be trained in addressing inappropriate behaviour?

The webinar series Discussing diversity, inclusion and racism provides an interactive platform to discuss and exchange best practices and develop initiatives that foster diversity and encourage global citizenship.The sessions are open to staff and students of all ENLIGHT partners as well as their respective local communities.
