Marijke Leliveld

Marijke Leliveld is Aletta Jacobs hoogleraar Consumentenethiek aan de Faculteit Economie en Bedrijfskunde. Naast haar expertise op het gebied van moraliteit en ethiek, draagt Leliveld bij aan de thema’s duurzame samenleving en duurzame welvaart.

Voor een onderzoeksproject ontving ze een gift van 100.000 euro van de Gratama Stichting. Het onderzoeksproject is gericht op het produceren van biologisch textiel voor duurzame mode. Leliveld focust zich op de consumentenkant van het project: wat hebben consumenten nodig om bepaalde materialen te accepteren als bruikbaar voor kleding?

Ook maakt Leliveld deel uit van het nieuwe textielproject SORTED, dat zich richt op innovatie, recycling, gedragsverandering en circulaire businessmodellen in de hele textielketen, van inzameling en sortering tot hergebruik en vezel-tot-vezelrecycling. Onder leiding van Leliveld wordt onderzocht hoe consumenten hun kledinggebruik kunnen verduurzamen – door minder, beter en bewuster te kopen, te dragen en af te danken.
