Aarts, prof. dr. Kees
Kees Aarts is hoogleraar politieke instituties en gedrag aan de Faculteit Gedrags- & Maatschappijwetenschappen, waar hij verder ook decaan is. Aarts is lid van de referendumcommissie van de provincie Groningen. Zijn specialisatie ligt op het gebied van kiesgedrag en democratische processen, waarbij hij onderzoek doet naar de interactie tussen politieke systemen en de invloed van inwoners. Naast zijn academische activiteiten geeft Aarts vaak zijn toelichting op actuele politieke ontwikkelingen.
