Roel Bekker to lead evaluation of decision-making process Yantai project

Mr R. (Roel) Bekker has been appointed as chair of the committee that will evaluate the Yantai project of the University of Groningen. The evaluation will focus on the decision-making concerning the project that was initiated in 2015 and terminated in 2018. In its investigation, the committee will look at written information and talk to those involved. It is not yet known when the research report will be presented.

Roel Bekker was secretary-general both at the Ministry of Health, Welfare and Sport and for the central government reform programme in the Netherlands (VRD). He also held the position of professor by special appointment for Labour Relations at Leiden University. From 1965 to 1970, he studied constitutional and administrative law at the University of Groningen.
