Sustainable Team Challenge participants steal pink snail
Since September, the Green Office has been organizing the Team Challenge for the entire University. Teams from different faculties compete against each other to win points for sustainable tasks. Bonus points can be gained by stealing the pink snail, called Gary, from each other. Have you already seen him?
The Team Challenge participants have, among other things, calculated their CO2 footprints and considered how to lower them. During the challenge in October, they recorded their food waste and one team even made the news! In the fight against waste, a team member used the app Too Good to Go. Via this app you can buy cheap food that is left over at the end of the day at bakeries and restaurants. The challenge trophy, Green Gary the pink snail, is worth bonus points. Participants can gain extra points by taking the snail to their own faculty and taking photos of him there. Gary is seeing a lot of the UG!
