Throwback to Project Presentation Day and Offer Holder Day
Today we are happy to throw it back to Monday 20 June, 2022.
On that day UCG students presented the results of the projects they have been working on all year.
Projects at UCG
Projects provide the context for experiential learning. Here, existing and new scholarship is applied to practical situations, using collaborative problem-solving skills. In so doing, students make sense of the world and their role within it.
UCG is the only University College in the Netherlands to require students to work on interdisciplinary projects throughout their bachelor studies. Projects are a special type of course in which students are curiosity-driven scholars.
In projects, students collaborate with faculty and experts to tackle real-world issues.
Projects Presentation Day is the culmination of the projects and offers external stakeholders the opportunity to view and discuss the deliverables.
Would you like to know more about projects at UCG? You can find all kinds of examples on our Project-based Learning page.
Offer Holder Day
On the same day, we organized an event for our Class of 2025: the cohort that will start studying at UCG as of September 2022.
The students joined a few interactive sessions at the Faculty, getting a taste of the UCG education style and community. Besides that, students got to know some of our staff in a speed dating setting. Lastly, they got to explore the Faculty and experience Project Presentation Day.
Thank you to all the people present and the people involved in organizing!
