Dr. Lieuwe Zijlstra is nominated for a Best Practice in Teaching and Learning Award

UCG is happy to announce our nominee for the Best Practice in Teaching and Learning Award 2023. Our nominated practice is the "Young Scientists at UCG Research Internships" led by Dr. Lieuwe Zijlstra.
The practice focuses around providing evidence-based research internships aimed at improving students’ academic performance and combining high-level research and teaching. Students are members of the Experimental Philosophy Lab Group founded to embed students in a collaborative structure conducive to their academic development.
The internship encourages students to think as researchers and engage in all aspects of the research process. Both UCG alumni and current students participated presenting their research about Experimental Philosophy at different faculties and at academic institutions including the UG, Utrecht University, University of Amsterdam, Granada University, Yale University, and at research meetings at Harvard and MIT.
Congratulations to all staff and students involved!
