My scientific interests: Star Formation, Astrochemistry, Hot cores/corinos, (proto)stellar outflows, sub-mm astronomical observations (especially with ALMA), chemical kinetic modeling, solar system chemistry, prebiotic molecule formation.
I am also an avid science communicator, participating regularly in large public outreach projects such as Skype a Scientist and Zpannend Zernike, as well as writing my own astronomy lessons for young children in English and Dutch.
