P+R Zernike and P+R Reitdiep are situated at walking distance or a short bus ride from the Kapteynborg.

Accessibility

Parking for people with functional or other impairments (at the Duisenberg Building)
Three parking spaces have been reserved for people with functional or other impairments at the Duisenberg Building. Please contact the Duisenberg Building reception (tel. +31 (0)50 363 4624) for more information.

There are several public bicycle sheds around the building, including some near the entrances. Staff members can use the lockable bicycle sheds, which are accessible for disability vehicles.

Lifts
There are two lifts in the Kapteynborg. These lifts provide access to all floors of the building. You do not need a card to use them. The lift does not provide voice support.

Toilet facilities
Wheelchair-accessible toilet facilities can be found at the following locations:
Ground floorrooms: 0020A and 0043A
First floorrooms: 0120A and 0143D
Second floorroom: 0243D

Nursing mothers’ room / first-aid room / prayer room
There is no nursing mothers’ room in the building.  Please report to the reception desk to enquire about nursing options.
There is no first-aid room in the building. The nearest first-aid room is in the Duisenberg Building.
There is a prayer room on the first floor, in room 0122.
