Exclusive assortment: a project together with Dr. Yvonne van Everdingen (Erasmus University). In this project we research to what extend national brand manufacturers are willing to produce exclusive assortments for individual grocery retailers.
Neuromarketing & shopping behavior: in this project (together with Dr. Roeland Dietvorst of Alpha.One) we research the impact of utilitarian and hedonic shopping environments on the "but button" of shoppers. We use fMRI-techniques as a tool to measure the impact.
The rise of Hard Discount: in this project we research the rise of hard discounetrs (such as Aldi & Lidl) and their impact on traditional grocery retailers and national brand manufacturers.
Shopping trips and store attribute importance: in this project we research how the importance of store attributes (such as price and service image) differ between several type of shopping trips and differ with regard to the type of competing retailers. Project together with dr. Auke Hunneman and prof. dr. Peter Verhoef.
