dr. A.O. Krushynska
Dr. Anastasiia Krushynska is an Assistant Professor on Dynamics and Vibration at the Computational Mechanics and Materials Engineering group of ENTEG since May 2019 and a former Marie Sklodowska-Curie Research Fellow at the University of Torino (2016-2017) in Italy. With a Ph.D. degree in Mechanics of Deformable Solids from Kiev National University in Ukraine, she worked as a post-doctoral researcher in Ukraine, Taiwan, the Netherlands, and Italy. Her research interests are in the fields of Acoustics and Wave Dynamics of Solids. Since 2013, her main research activities are focused on acoustic and phononic metamaterials. She has published more than 36 papers in international peer-reviewed journals, including Physical Review Letters, Applied Physics Letters, Journal of Mechanics and Physics of Solids, New Journal of Physics, and others, with some of them widely highlighted in the news and press-releases. Her research was distinguished by several individual research grants and awards. Dr. Krushynska serves as an editor in three international journal, as a reviewer for 28 journals and 3 international conferences, and is an external referee of the European Commission projects.
