Team Jonge Harten
As part of our practical assignment for Jonge Harten, our team worked on evaluating the festival’s impact using a structured, research-driven approach. Our work resulted in two key final products, each providing valuable insights into how Jonge Harten fosters meaningful experiences for its audience.
Team A conducted an audience research study, analyzing how festival participants experience social resilience, social cohesion, and active citizenship. Through semi-structured interviews and thematic analysis, the research highlighted how Jonge Harten creates a sense of belonging, strengthens connections, and inspires engagement within the community.
Team B developed a Theory of Change framework, mapping how Jonge Harten’s activities contribute to these outcomes and exploring how the festival can translate them into long-term impact. This structured approach outlines the festival’s inputs, activities, and outputs, helping Jonge Harten refine its strategy for fostering lasting social and cultural change.
By combining research-driven insights with a strategic framework, our work provides Jonge Harten with practical tools to better understand its audience and maximize its impact. Throughout the project, we navigated complex research questions, refined our approach, and strove to deliver an end product that meets the needs of the Jonge Harten Festival. The experience challenged us to think critically and apply our academic knowledge in a real-world setting. In the end, we are proud to have contributed meaningful research that supports Jonge Harten’s mission and future growth.
