Bring your research to the public - European Researchers' Night and Zpannend Zernike

05 April 2024

This year again, the fall weeks full of science activities for the people of Groningen and beyond will take place!

We kick off with the European Researchers’ Night science festival at Forum Groningen, followed by a new set of public activities during the ‘Week of Connections’ both organised by the UG Schools for Science and Society. We round off with the Zpannend Zernike science festival for children, in the national Weekend of Science.

These Groningen events reached a total of 22.000 visitors last year who got the opportunity to do science experiments, see demonstrations about new research findings, learn about science and ethics, and have a lot of fun!

Join us to connect science and the public

Will you join us (again) this year with an experiment, mini-lecture, installation, workshop, debate, science show or other? Please register online by 31 May 2024. For researchers, these events are also a wonderful opportunity to collect data or recruit participants for your research project.

Do you still need to develop an activity, but you want to participate? Register now and we will support you to create an activity accessible for the public. If you have any questions, please contact info@zpannendzernike.nl.

Join us to get science closer to the people of the North, feel free to share this call with your colleagues.
