HAMLETT-OPHELIA symposium | UMCG
On Monday, May 11th, we will gather in Groningen for a symposium organised by the HAMLETT-OPHELIA consortium, celebrating nine years of research into first-episode psychosis. Afterwards, we will visit the Brainstorm exhibition at the University Museum and attend the PhD defense of our very own HAMLETT researcher, Franciska de Beer. To conclude the day, we will head back to the University Museum for a reception.
The HAMLETT-OPHELIA study is the world’s largest study investigating the short- and long-term effects of early tapering of antipsychotic medication. What have we learned over nine years of the HAMLETT-OPHELIA study, and what are the implications for the treatment of first-episode psychosis?
