MSCA Postdoctoral Fellowship awarded for “Neuromorphic Touch”
18 March 2026

We are pleased to share that Shavika Rastogi has been awarded a prestigious Marie SkÅ‚odowska-Curie Actions Postdoctoral Fellowship (MSCA PF) for her project “Neuromorphic Touch.”
Advancing touch in neuroprosthetics
The project addresses a key challenge in neuroprosthetics: restoring the sense of touch after limb loss. By using CMOS-based neuromorphic circuits, the research aims to enable real-time, energy-efficient tactile processing directly in hardware, reducing reliance on external systems.
A highly competitive achievement
The 2025 MSCA PF call received over 17,000 applications, making this award a significant accomplishment.
We look forward to the contributions this project will bring to neuromorphic engineering and sensory restoration at the Zernike Institute for Advanced Materials.
