UK leading Academy of Social Sciences conferms honorable award to professor Klaus Hubacek
By resolution of their Council in February 2022 the leading Academy of Social Sciences in the United Kingdom has recently confermed the honorable award to Prof. Dr K.S. (Klaus) Hubacek as their Fellow. Therefore a certificate will be presented to him at the Academy President’s Lunch on Tuesday 28 June 2022 at St Antony’s College, University of Oxford.
The national academy of academics, practitioners and learned societies in social science, is the sector’s leading independent voice in the UK, as they champion the vital role social sciences play in education, government and business. Their impact influences how well social sciences are understood, flourish in academia, and used beyond. This ultimately enhances towards decision-making, society and social science.
The Academy’s distinguished Fellowship comprises 1,400 leading social scientists from academia, the public, private and third sectors. Their Fellows’ expertise covers the breadth of the social sciences, and their practice and research addresses some of the major challenges facing communities, society, places and economies.
