08 September 2021

ICOG member Benjamin Leruth (European Politics and Society) has been appointed Editor of the international political science journal Acta Politica by the board of the Dutch Political Science Association (NKWP). He took over the role from Rens Vliegenthart (UvA) on 1 September to work together with Emilie van Haute (ULB).

Acta Politica is one of the few truly international political science journals with a broad scope across the discipline. It covers such sub-areas as Dutch and comparative politics, as well as international relations, political theory, public administration, and political communication. The journal's 2020 impact factor was 2.404 and it is currently considered as a Q1 journal (top 25% in the field of Political Science and International Relations).
