Recent work of Poelarends and co-workers has been highlighted in Nature Catalysis
A short Research Highlight about a recent publication from Prof. Gerrit Poelarends and co-workers has been published in the latest issue (Vol 2, November 2019) of Nature Catalysis. The original article describes how they applied protein engineering to construct a biocatalyst for the enantioselective synthesis of chiral synthons for artificial dipeptide sweeteners such as neotame and advantame, which have wide‐ranging applications in the food industry.
