Career prospects

The career prospects for alumni of the Graduate School of Philosophy are very good.

Many of the Groningen graduates move on to research or teaching jobs – within institutions for secondary schools or vocational traning. Most often they work at a university, whether in the Netherlands or abroad. Graduates can also move to jobs where research skills are needed such as think tanks and consultancy.

Further career options are possible in media & journalism, education or in various public and private enterprises such as newspapers, publishing houses, trade unions, and local and national government bodies.
