
Teaching and Examination Regulations (OER)

The BSc Honours programme is included in the Teaching and Examination Regulations (OER) 2010-2011 of the Bachelor’s degree programme in Medicine and Dentistry.
This is what the OER says about the Honours programme:
‘ Honours’ research endorsement
To be eligible for the ‘Honours’ research endorsement in the context of the Faculty JSM BSc Honours programme, a student must gain a minimum of 30 ECTS credit points in the JSM BSc Honours programme. The Bachelor’s degree programme in Medicine including the Faculty JSM BSc Honours programme is therefore associated with a student workload of at least 210 ECTS.
To be eligible for the Honours research endorsement, a student must:
- have gained at least 10 ECTS from the components of the JSM BSc Honours programme of both year 2 and year 3
- have completed at least 1 JSM Pilot Project (6 ECTS).
- completed the third year course "Scientific Integrity" with at least a 'pass'.
