
Rolf Sijmons appointed to new chair in Medical Translational Genetics
Per 1st August 2012, we are pleased to announce that Rolf Sijmons, MD, PhD, has been appointed to a new chair in Medical Translational Genetics at the University of Groningen/UMCG. He will lead the Department of Genetics's Development & Innovation work, which will include team 3 in Genome Diagnostics, the genotyping and sequencing facility, and the oncogenetics research team.
In addition, Rolf will remain active as a clinical geneticist in the UMCG Familial Cancer Clinic.
