Celebrating a successful MemrisTec Summer School 2024

01 October 2024

This year’s MemrisTec Summer School (22–29 September) was an enlightening week packed with both educational and fun activities for participants coming from different parts of the world. Next to lectures, lab activities and poster sessions, the participants got to explore the city of Groningen, Dutch culture, activate their taste buds with an international sweet buffet and more!

The summer school focused on covering research topics from the programme Memristive Devices Toward Smart Technical Systems and was organised for students of electrical engineering, computer science, materials sciences, physics and the like.

The participants could enjoy talks from international speakers on relevant topics, as well as networking with each other. A wonderful group of diverse individuals came together, each with a unique approach to learning, yet united by a common goal. They have the potential to build upon the knowledge of previous generations and bring about meaningful change. We’re honoured to have hosted this talented group and played a part in their educational journey.

The MemrisTec Summer School was co-organised with the Technische Universität Dresden.

And a special thank you to all participants, speakers and of course the organisation!
