Title
:
'Massive time series analysis in the InfraWatch project'
Abstract:
The InfraWatch project revolves around data from a sensor network placed
on a Dutch highway bridge, and the analysis of this data, in order to
understand degradation of the bridge over time. This so-called Structural
Health Monitoring requires one to analyse large quantities of data, and
model the different ways in which a bridge responds to changes in traffic
and climate. In this talk I will discuss the various ways in which we
analyse the data for significant patterns, and how this analysis might
lead to indicators of bridge health. Specifically, I will cover the
challenges of having several Terabytes of sensor data to analyse.
