Reception Röling building

Do you have a general question, a lost or found item, or do you want to report a faulty copying or printing machine? Visit the reception of the Röling Building on the ground floor, near the central meeting area. Our staff will be happy to assist you.

Study spaces in the Röling building

In the Röling Building, you will find spacious and quiet study spaces:

  • Ground floor: open study spaces
  • 3rd and 4th floors: couches for focused work
  • Quiet study rooms for extra peace and quiet


Additionally, study associations have their own rooms, and there are two meeting rooms in the basement.

Printing and print work

You can find printers at each floor of the Röling building. The printers facilitate printing, scanning and copying. You can add a balance to your student card to use the machines. You can find how to add balance to your UG card and how to print wirelessly here.

IT support

Do you need help with IT systems, software, or your University account? The CIT Servicedesk is the central point of contact for all your questions and problems.

AV front desk

At the AV Front Desk, you can borrow AV equipment and get advice on media usage in education and research. Ideal for presentations, lectures, or research projects.

University Library (UB)

The University Library (UL) provides access to scientific information and a wide variety of study spaces. Check the opening hours and reserve a spot.

Groningen Centre for Legal Skills (GCJV)

The Groningen Centre for Legal Skills (GCJV) is the knowledge centre for legal skills. A team of lecturer-researchers and student assistants develops educational materials, such as knowledge clips, and organises activities to strengthen your legal skills.

Student Service Centre

The Student Service Centre is here for you for study support. Whether you need help with academic skills or just a listening ear.

Language Centre

Do you want to learn a language or improve your level? Then you can go to the Language Centre. They offer a range of education, from training to language cafés.
