AI Tools in Education: Responsible and Competent Use

The possibilities offered by Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools provide students and lecturers with excellent opportunities to work faster and differently. However, this also raises questions about when AI tools can and cannot be used.

The UG has therefore drawn up a set of 10 basic rules to integrate responsible and competent use of AI, and more specifically Generative AI (GenAI), into education. These rules align with academic working methods and core academic principles.

In addition, the faculty is finalising its own supplementary AI policy. Once completed, you can find it here.

Please note!
The application of AI may vary per course. Are there additional rules for a specific course? Your lecturer will inform you. Questions? Contact your lecturer.

You can find the 10 rules and the general UG policy on the UG website.
