Describing in several words my studies at the University of Groningen is almost impossible, but worth trying.
So, it all started with choosing the Netherlands. This country is a heart of international law and RuG’s programme is almost unique here. Moreover, the University of Groningen scores leading in the ranking of Dutch law faculties. That’s why I came to Groningen, to its old and modern university, friendly staff and highly qualified lecturers. With the support of Nuffic I managed to spend here one wonderful year in my life. Studies were hard, but manageable. Fun – plenty of it, a lot of places to enjoy. The city - calm and interesting, with nice parks, and bikes of course.
If you are a prospective student reading this and still do not know whether to come to Groningen or not, bear in mind that: Groningen is “The safest city of the Netherlands 2001 & 2005” with more than 45 % of population under the age of 35. The University of Groningen is one of the oldest universities in Europe, established in 1614. Studies are interactive, thinking-oriented and challenging, and you can have a lot of fun. So, what else do you need?!
Groningen is waiting for YOU!
