My name is Ruta and I am a Lithuanian student at the University of Groningen. I have chosen this University because it was ranked as having the best law faculty in the country, and since I wanted to study International and European law, that was a decisive point for me. I chose this programme because it provides for many opportunities both in international and national sectors; moreover, it is a new programme, related to current world issues, which I am interested in. To be honest, however, I did not expect that this programme would be related to the English language to this extent as it is, and therefore I would advise you to bear in mind that the level of English required is high. Regarding the city of Groningen, it has many things to offer, from student sport centre ACLO to frequent international events. The last point I want to make and to advice you: always lock you bike, because they tend to get stolen very quickly if you do not lock them properly! :-)
