Master's Week Faculty of Religion, Culture and Society
From: | Mo 18-03-2024 |
Until: | Fr 22-03-2024 |
Where: | Monday: on campus (Oude Boteringestraat 38, Groningen). Tuesday to Friday: online |
Religion is an important factor in many national and international social themes. Sometimes this is obvious, especially when we read news about religious radicalization. Other times, it is much less obvious and we are not as aware of the influence religion has in social phenomena, such as in cases of sexual health or climate change. Experts on religion are needed in a world in which religion is a permanent part of everyday life.
At the Faculty of Religion, Culture and Society, we offer Master's Degree Programmes, each researching religion in relation to various subjects, ranging from heritage studies to peacebuilding, and from health & wellbeing to politics, climate change and meaning-making.
You are welcome to join our master's event on 18-22 March to learn more about our programmes and the religion factor in culture and society. We organise information sessions both on campus (Monday) and online (Tuesday to Friday).
During the information sessions, you will get more information by teachers about the relevance and content of the Master's programmes, and the career opportunities after the Master's. MA-students will be present as well to tell you more about their experiences. And study advisors can tell you more about admission requirements and study facilities, among other things.
