Faculty of Arts organizes Arts Festival
On Saturday 14 September 2019, the first edition of the Arts Festival took place. The Faculty of Arts opened its doors to everyone with an interest in humanities.
A great way to be acquainted with the various, dynamic and innovative world of the humanities, and to experience the value for society first hand.
The Arts Festival took place in and around the Harmonie Building at Oude Kijk in ‘t Jatstraat 26: home of the Faculty of Arts. The programme started at 1 p.m. and lasted until 5 p.m. Admission was free.
Programme
The Arts Festival was a mix of workshops, mini-lectures, scientific experiments, poster presentations, etc. The Harmonie Building and its surrounding squares were transformed into a scientific festival site. In addition to the scientific programme there was live music and visitors could buy drinks and snacks from several foodtrucks and at the outside bar.
