Work, Aging, and Retirement Journal

Work, Aging and Retirement provides a peer-reviewed forum for evidence-based, translational research on worker aging and retirement, with the goal of enhancing understanding of these phenomena.

Sloan Research Network on Aging & Work

Established in 2015, the Sloan Research Network on Aging & Work is an international, multidisciplinary research network focused on the changing circumstances of work in later life. The goal of the Network is to provide a forum for sharing members’ cutting-edge work from various disciplines, including psychology, sociology, economics, social work, human resource management, and other areas of study. The mission is to facilitate collaboration and interaction among scholars from across the world and many disciplinary perspectives whose research focuses on the context of aging and work in light of longer lives and increasing individual responsibility for retirement income.

Aletta Jacobs School of Public Health (AJSPH)

The AJSPH is an inter-faculty network of researchers and their partners from the University of Groningen, University Medical Center Groningen, and Hanze University of Applied Sciences, investigating health and well-being from various perspectives (economics and business, social sciences, law, medicine, etc.) with the mission to increase the number of healthy years. The AJSPH is the flag-bearer of healthy aging in the Northern Netherlands and organizes research meet-ups, educational programmes, public engagement activities, and collaborations with societal partners invested in public health.

Tilburg University School of Behavioural Sciences

Healthy Lifespan: how can we integrate biological, social and psychological perspectives when investigating development over the lifespan.

Research of Tilburg University School of Behavioural Sciences focusses on a Healthy Lifespan. This research has an interdisciplinary approach that integrates biological, social and psychological perspectives. It has become more important than ever to promote a healthy work/life. The interdisciplinary approach looks at scientific issues like how the brain develops and ages, how complex educational and work-related skills are learned and retained, how individuals navigate and master key social roles and tasks, how healthy social relationships (including intergenerational relationships) are established and preserved, and how meaningful life outcomes, like psychological and physical health, eudemonic well-being and personal growth, can be promoted and protected even under difficult circumstances.

The ARC Centre of Excellence in Population Ageing Research (CEPAR) is a unique collaboration between academia, government and industry, committed to delivering solutions to one of the major economic and social challenges of the 21st century. Based in Australia at the University of New South Wales with nodes at the Australian National University, Curtin University, the University of Melbourne and the University of Sydney, leading researchers drawn from Actuarial Science, Demography, Economics, Epidemiology, Psychology, Industrial Relations, Organisational Behaviour and Sociology, undertake multidisciplinary research to help governments, businesses, and consumers prepare for and make better decisions for an ageing world.

Nederlandse Stichting voor Psychotechniek

The NSvP (Dutch Foundation for Psychotechnology) is committed to a humane future of work. The Foundation asks what the labor market of tomorrow will look like and which demands on the talent development of young people and workers this creates. By linking scientific research with practical applications, the NSvP wants to stimulate a movement that actually increases the development opportunities of workers.

Human Resource Research Center at University of Florida

The Human Resource Research Center (HRRC) is located within the Warrington College of Business, University of Florida. The purpose of the HRRC is to contribute to both the science and the profession of human resource management by supporting educational programs and research that focus on factors that affect human performance in work settings in ways that have practical implications for management.
