Online Master's Event Theology and Religious Studies

Religion is an important factor in many national and international social themes. Sometimes this is obvious, especially when we read news about religious radicalization. Other times, it is much less obvious and we are not as aware of the influence religion has in social phenomena, such as in cases of sexual health or climate change. Experts on religion are needed in a world in which religion is a permanent part of everyday life.
We offer various tracks, each researching religion in relation with various subjects, ranging from heritage studies to peacebuilding, from health &wellbeing to politics. You are welcome to join our online sessions and learn more about our programmes and the religion factor in culture and society.
Master's Degree Programmes
The Faculty of Theology and Religious Studies offers the following tracks in its one-year Master's degree programme Theology & Religious Studies:
- Religion, Conflict and Globalization
- Religion and Cultural Heritage
- Religion and Pluralism, Ancient & Modern
- Religion, Health and Wellbeing
Two-years Research Master's programme:
There are also two master's taught at other Faculties that you can follow in combination with our master's programmes:
- Educational Master's programme (Dutch only) (postmaster LVHO, Faculty BSS)
- Philosophy, Science and Humanities (Double Degree, Faculty of Philosophy)
Our alumni end up in a wide range of positions, from policy advisor on heritage mangement to advisor in the field of sexua and reproductive health. Curious? Check out our alumni page for examples!
