Welcome to your Programme

Dear student,

I am happy to welcome you to the Master’s CCS in Groningen, the programme you are about to start.

You have chosen well! Groningen is a great place to be for students. And CCS in Groningen is a great programme. It has everything you would expect from a Master’s programme in Cognitive Science, and some more: Cognitive Modelling, Language and technology, Cognitive Neuroscience and Brain-Computer Interfaces, but also Human-Machine interaction and Human-Centred AI. And there will be ample possibilities for you to follow your own interests! You may even take courses from the AI Master’s programme. What’s even more exciting: we are in the process of extending our programme with new courses, so it will be even more exciting in the future!

You will have to do the work, but we we are all here to assist you where we can. I can safely say that your teachers are all very dedicated, who you can always ask for help and advice, because we really care about you.

I hope you have a great time here at AI@Groningen, and I hope we will meet in person soon!
