Computing Science on-site selection test

This year, the Computing Science department of the UG provides the opportunity to do the numerus fixus selection test on-site. After the test, you will have the opportunity to talk to Computing Science staff members and students. Additionally, we will provide free drinks and a T-shirt for anyone who shows up!

Where is it?

The on-site selection test will take place in the Aletta Jacobs Hall. This is the UG’s exam hall on the Zernike campus. It is easy to reach by bike, public transport and there are also car parking facilities nearby. Parents or supervisors will not be allowed in the building until after the selection test has ended. Exceptions can be made if a disability requires so, in which case you should contact the numerus fixus team at numerusfixus.fse rug.nl.

When is it?

The test will take place on Friday 11 February 2022. The test will start at 13:00 CET, so you are advised to be there at least 15 minutes in advance. You will have 4 hours to complete the test once it starts. There will not be any breaks during the test. After you have finished your test, you are free to stay to talk to some staff members or students, have some free drinks and collect your T-shirt!

What do I need to bring for the test?

It is important that you bring a valid ID such as an ID card, passport, driver's license or a university card from the UG. For the test, you should bring a calculator (both simple and graphing calculators are allowed). The test itself will be digital, but we will provide you with scratch paper. As such, you are advised to bring a pen or pencil. You are also allowed to bring food and drinks, as long as the food does not make much noise.

Important

If you decide to participate in this on-site test, you should not start the online test that will be available in the same week. Doing so will prevent you from doing the on-site test.
