Scholarships
The Faculty of Philosophy offers several scholarships to admitted students with (solely) a non-EU/EEA nationality. The scholarships will not fully cover all costs of the study programme and living expenses. However, it is allowed to combine different scholarships and grants.
- The Faculty of Philosophy covers 50% of the tuition fee for all enrolled Master’s degree students with a non-EU/EEA nationality
- Two talent grants of €5000 are available for non-EU/EEA students in both the PPE Master and the Research Master programme
- Admitted prospective master’s degree students can apply for the Holland Scholarship
- One fully funded PhD position is available each year for a Research Master graduate
External scholarships and grants
A fair amount of governments in countries across the world provide full or partial scholarships to students pursuing a Master’s degree abroad (e.g. Indonesia (LDPD), Chile (CONICYT), Mexico (CONACYT). Having obtained a scholarship from your home country will not influence the selection procedure for any of the above mentioned Faculty of Philosophy grants.
