Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) students Falk John, Spencer Atkisson and Per Tjaden placed first in the national stage of Accuracy’s Business Cup on February 25th. The team, who founded the Groningen Consulting Association on behalf of EBF (association for FEB students), pitched their business case against competitors from all other major Dutch business schools.

The judge panel was formed of senior consultants from the international firm Accuracy and strategy executives from the Pon Group. According to Falk John, ‘It was great to finally put into practice what we've been taught over the past years. From full financial analysis, to governmental and economic implications, this was one of the most educational experiences in my journey.’

The Accuracy Business Cup is an international student competition drawing over 2,300 top-performing students from 11 countries around the world. Teams are given a corporate problem and pitch their business case studies to a team of consultants and business executives. As winners of the Dutch national final, the team of FEB students will compete against other national champions from around the world in the international final in Paris on 10 April.
