Rian Drogendijk appointed as fellow of the European International Business Academy

Professor Rian Drogendijk has been appointed as fellow of the European International Business Academy (EIBA), where she previously served as President. EIBA Fellowships recognise outstanding research and educational achievements in the field of International Business, together with contributions to EIBA.
About EIBA
The EIBA Fellows consist of a group of senior scholars who collectively represent a distinctively European contribution to thinking in the greater field of International Business (IB). EIBA is a professional society for academics and practicioners with an interest in the multidisciplinary field of IB that serves as a community network promoting research, global communication, knowledge transfer, life-long learning and exchanges of ideas. EIBA’s members share the common purpose of using an international context to cross the intellectual boundaries that often divide institutions of higher education. EIBA organises an Annual Conference, during which several best paper and other recognition awards are presented. Other events organized throughout the year are a Doctoral symposium, a Doctoral Tutorial, and various paper/professional development workshops and other local EIBA Workshops on various IB topics. Apart from organizing these events, EIBA also publishes two journals and a community newsletter: the International Business Review (IBR), Progress in International Business Research (PIBR) and EIBAzine – International Business Perspectives.
Rian Drogendijk is Professor of International Business, with a chair in Internationalization Strategy, at the Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB). She is also Director of Graduate Studies (responsible for the research master and doctoral education) at FEB. Her research interests center around international expansion strategies of companies, the integration of sustainable strategies in international activities of multinationals, and communication, learning and political processes in multinational (and multicultural) organizations.
