Customized Entry Package

Are you interested in the programme MSc International Economics and Sustainable Development (formerly known as Economic Development and Globalization), but do not meet the requirements for direct entry? If you have studied one of the programmes enumerated below at the University of Groningen, you can be offered a customized Pre-Master's package:

• UG BSc Industrial Engineering and Management (IEM)

• UG BSc International Relations and International Organization (IRIO)

Knowledge obtained in the BSc International Relations and International Organization or BSc Industrial Engineering and Management is highly relevant with the field of International Economics and Sustainable Development. As such, you can continue your studies in the MSc International Economics and Sustainable Development after completing some additional courses.

25 EC customized entry package 

The list below enumerates the relevant courses for Pre-MSc IE&SD. Each course is 5 EC.

^ We assume active knowledge of Mathematics level VWO A/B. If you need to refresh your knowledge, you can follow the FEB Mathematics Summer Course.

You may opt to complete these courses during their BSc IEM or BSc IRIO study, or after obtaining you Bachelor's degree (with a Pre-Master's enrolment). Successfully completing the 25 ECTS that are relevant to IE&SD and also obtaining a BSc IEM or BSc IRIO degree then allow students to directly commence with the MSc IE&SD programme.
