Economics and Business Economics programme (profile Economics or profile International Economics and Business)
Fudan University in Shanghai (China) and the University of Groningen in the Netherlands have developed a double degree programme, which started on 1 September 2006. This Economics and Business Economics programme emphasizes the application of economic and business theories to current issues in economics or international economics and business.
The programme is ideal for students from Fudan University who also want to study in Europe for a few years.
The programme consists of 2 years study at the School of Economics at Fudan University and 2 years in the Economics and Business Economics programme at the Faculty of Economics and Business in Groningen. After four years (2 years at Fudan and 2 years in Groningen) students will obtain a bachelor degree from both Fudan University and the University of Groningen.
A completion of the BSc Economics and Business Economics degree programme also grants direct access to the one-year Master of Science degree programmes Economics or International Economics and Business at the University of Groningen.
Econometrics and Operations Research programme
In 2011 we have developed a new Double Degree possibility with our partner university in Fudan. This time in the Econometrics and Operations Research programme. The programme offers you a sound education in economics, mathematics and statistics. The organization of the programme is along similar lines as the Economics and Business Economics double degree programme.
