Testing out a degree programme

Before you enrol in a degree programme, you may want to try it out first. The Faculty of Economics and Business offers two ways for you to test whether a specific Bachelor’s degree programme is the right choice for you.

Student for a Day

The Student for a Day event is organized twice a year. You will spend an entire day at the Faculty following lectures, working on assignments together with fellow prospective students and meeting your future lecturers and classmates. A current student of the degree programme will guide you through the day. Registration is compulsory.
Check the dates for Student for a Day and sign up!

Web classes

Another good way to test the waters of a degree programme is by following a web class, which allows you to work on case studies and assignments online. A web class consists of four modules, and you can check your answers at the end of each module.
The following web classes are available:

  1. Econometrics and Operations Research (English)
  2. Economics and Business Economics (English)
  3. International Business (English)
  4. Bedrijfskunde (Dutch)

Participation webclasses: twice a year

International students can participate in web classes twice a year, in November and March. More information on the web classes can be found on the Pre-University College website.
