Students at the Faculty of Economics and Business enroll in one of four bachelor’s degree programmes: Business Administration, Economics, Econometrics or International Business. Graduates with a bachelor’s degree may choose from no less than fourteen master’s degree programmes that each, in turn, offer one or more specialisations.
To prepare our students to take up positions in their business of choice, we offer them solid, research-based education, comprehensive supervision and a wide range of career related activities. This makes for students with an all-round profile – excelling in their field and armed with great personal skills - which allows them to operate efficiently in an ever-changing international environment.
According to the Universum Talent Research 2015, FEB students are particularly good at scalable learning. More than other students, they’re able to:
- see the bigger picture
- reach solutions
- continue to learn after graduating
- be future-oriented
That same study shows that the top career aims of FEB students are:
- to be competitively or intellectually challenged
- to be entrepreneurial or creative/innovative
- to be a leader or manager of people
Research has also shown that students at FEB, more often than other students, gain practical experience by working part-time outside their areas of study and by travelling and/or studying abroad. Besides, of the 2012/2013 alumni, 50 percent found a job just before graduation or at the time of graduating. It took them approximately two months to do so.
The main competences alumni say they use in their jobs are:
- problem-solving skills
- analytical skills
- working independently
